Chloe orders an android from the Gray Group with a face modeled on Elliott, her childhood friend and longtime rival, so she has a stand-in to vent every frustration on in private. What she doesn't know is that the machine is really Elliott, who happily plays along and slips into moments of unexpectedly human warmth. As Chloe bosses him around and takes out years of irritation on him, their constant closeness stirs up feelings they have spent years hiding.
