Won't Be a Victim Again

Episode 2 of 22

One month before the apocalypse, the narrator is handed a beauty system after her sister Wen Li takes the power system for herself. Stuck with a tool that seems far less valuable, she has little ambition and is content to coast. The setup hints at a family betrayal that leaves her on the losing end, and the central tension lies in whether she can break out of that position before the world falls apart.
