When Fate Returned My Child

Episode 25 of 72

Megan, a young woman from a modest background, finds herself at a lavish masquerade ball thrown by a wealthy family, where her stepfather has drugged her and pushed her into serving drinks to clear his debts. Overcome by the drug, she stumbles into a quiet lounge and spends a night with Ewan Riley, an heir who would rather be anywhere but the party. Ewan has long been unable to bear a woman's touch because of a painful childhood, yet Megan is the single exception. When morning comes, she slips away before he returns, leaving only blurry memories and his tie behind.
