Wake Up, Soccer God

Episode 8 of 77

Chinese football has long been written off, but nobody told a sixteen-year-old who carries the outside-foot magic of a midfield legend. The source premise is cut short, so the story rests on a young player whose gifted touch sets him apart from a sport everyone else has given up on. Viewers meet a teen who believes his talent can still change the game, even when the people around him see only decline. The tension comes from whether one dazzling kid can push a dismissed football culture back into the spotlight.
