Two Lives for a Floor Full of Strangers

Episode 3 of 40

Three years after an earthquake tore through the city, Lydia is still grieving the loss of her husband and son, who gave their lives to save every other resident of their apartment building. Her story turns toward the unfamiliar faces who survived that night and the debts of gratitude that now bind them together. The emotional weight of that sacrifice shapes how she sees the people she once barely knew, setting up a conflict between the past she lost and the community she must learn to trust again.
