The Weight of Her Betrayal

Episode 35 of 68

Claire Carter becomes convinced that her husband Gavin Stone is a gold-digger after she starts an affair with Ryan Blake, and she lays the blame on him for the accident that injured their daughter Mia. The real story is far more troubling, since Gavin had quietly been paying for Claire's career and Ryan turns out to be a spy using her to take Gavin's research. Once the truth surfaces, Claire is buried in regret and begs for forgiveness, but Gavin and Mia refuse to take her back.
