Sylvia comes from an ordinary family, and her father Nicholas runs a small business. One evening she finds a powerful stranger outside her home, clearly angry with her father, and before she can see his face he is gone. The next night she is abducted, and Nicholas soon learns that the tycoon Richard is behind it, after Nicholas refused to carry out a task for him. Sylvia's grandmother Sophie later brings her into the family mansion, where Sylvia recognizes Richard from a photo as her college boyfriend who vanished without explanation. Discovering that an accident erased his memories, Sylvia begins to fall for him all over again, but she must try to restore what he has lost while he grows angry at her efforts.
