The Stand-in’s Own Light

Episode 22 of 40

Designer Serena is framed and ruined after a betrayal she never saw coming. Her face bears a striking resemblance to Axel's late lover, and that likeness wins her a place in his world. Serena, however, has no intention of living as a replacement for someone who is gone, and she refuses to be treated as a stand-in. Her quiet resolve to reclaim her own name and her own light sets the stage for a story of counterattack.
