The Sidekick Had Other Plans

Episode 5 of 80

Zoey Devro wakes up inside a novel she has already read cover to cover, and she knows exactly how the story is supposed to end for her. Her role is the minor sidekick, a far cry from the glamorous lead the book celebrates. Rather than accept the fate written on the page, she begins to wonder whether a person of little importance can still change what happens around her. The story follows her attempts to rewrite her place in a world that was never built with her in mind.
