The Retired Ace

Episode 3 of 31

Elderly Xenia Burns feels misunderstood by the people around her, and her daughter Elsie Reed responds by sending her to a nursing home. The move shakes Xenia's sense of her place in the family and the community she has known for years. The tension between a mother who feels pushed aside and a daughter who believes she is doing what is best sets the stage for the drama that follows.
