At a blind date she mistakenly picks out the wrong man, and soon she has registered a marriage with a wealthy, aloof stranger tied to her best friend. Unknown to her, he has secretly loved her for years and has even bought into the company where she works so he can become her boss. After the wedding, the stepfather keeps up his harassment and a rival woman stirs trouble, yet her husband shields her fiercely.
