The Mute Swan's Farewell

Episode 18 of 70

Nerissa, the heiress of the Menard Group, gave up her wealthy family to stay with her boyfriend Brian Shaffer after a car accident left him deaf and unable to speak. Pretending to be mute herself, she spent three years at his side. When Brian recovered his voice, he distanced himself from her, ashamed of the past and of the silent girlfriend who had supported him, and turned to someone else. Hurt and betrayed, Nerissa decided to leave him behind and take back her identity, her name, and her future, with Michael Yeager beside her as she refuses to stay quiet any longer.
