The Melted Promise

Episode 4 of 55

Twenty-three days remain before graduation when a classmate slips a loquat candy onto the narrator's notebook, attached to a promise that he has something important to tell her on that day. The sweet gesture leaves her curious and a little unsettled as the countdown begins. Her attempts to read his intentions only make the wait feel longer, and the small candy becomes a symbol of a message she has not yet heard.
