The Marriage Contract

Episode 29 of 59

Philippe Bastien is the heir to a Paris conglomerate run by his father Émile, and he has grown used to people bending to his every wish. What he does not know is that the family fortune is bound up with a secret society and a rule that requires him to wed a daughter of one of his father's partners to keep the alliance and its wealth intact. Ava Dubois, the only daughter of wealthy businessman Martin Dubois, has spent years rejecting the glamour and attention of her upbringing, so she is shocked when she is called upon to fulfill the arrangement. Philippe, who usually chases glamorous women, is caught off guard by her plain appearance, and their clashing personalities make the marriage look anything but easy.
