Sophia Weber is one of only two female referees on Germany's international football list, and she has long dreamed of officiating at the men's World Cup. Her career takes a harsh turn when she refuses to award a fake penalty to star striker Van der S during a qualifier, and she is quickly demoted and met with cruel sexism. Digging deeper, she learns that her former boyfriend Thomas, a ruthless agent, is behind a vast match-fixing operation. Sophia must decide how far she is willing to go as she quietly gathers proof against crooked referees and officials.
