The Last Thirty Days

Episode 2 of 52

In a previous life, Zachary learned on his deathbed that the wife and daughter he had devoted himself to had never truly loved him. Given a second chance seven years into his marriage, he chooses to release them and throws himself into medical research instead. After a painful divorce he settles in Jing City to study brain cancer, where he meets a young patient named Coco and her aunt Xena, whose encouragement helps him pursue work overseas. Ten years later he comes back as an accomplished scientist, and two women are waiting for him at his apartment, each holding flowers and each hoping for something different.
