The Hidden Mother

Episode 22 of 35

Marlena leads a quiet, modest life and has always tried to stay out of the way of her son Kellan, who runs a company as its chief executive. She arrives with gifts to mark one of his milestones, hoping to share a moment of pride with him. The gesture pulls her into the polished, high-pressure world she has deliberately kept at a distance, forcing a question about where a mother belongs in her grown child's life.
