The Girl Who Rewrote Us

Episode 2 of 70

Villagers whisper that Lana is a jinx because she seems able to foresee what is coming, yet she carries a rare kind of good fortune that no one has understood. While she is gathering wild greens in worn, patched clothes, she meets Yelena Jenkins, the wife of the military governor. Yelena soon brings Lana back to the governor's residence, where Lana's luck begins to transform everything around her, from blossoms opening in full splendor to an aging yellow dog being given a new lease on life. Her gifts, it turns out, run far deeper than these small miracles.
