The General's Battle at Home

Episode 13 of 52

Gabriel Reeds comes back to the capital as a decorated war hero, the general who broke the southern enemy and helped unite the nation. Yet the homecoming he expected turns out to be a trap set by those who never forgave him for his rise. Now he must fight a different kind of battle inside the palace walls, where the empress and royal court hold the real power. Every victory he won on the frontier means little when enemies sit close at home.
