The Don I Left Behind

Episode 27 of 40

Elena spent ten years at the side of Damian, the Mafia Godfather, shielding him from bullets and quietly building the intelligence network that kept his empire running, all while letting his name take credit for her work. When he gives the obsidian badge that should have been hers to Sophia in exchange for family votes, Elena breaks off their engagement and leaves for Black Harbor. Damian is sure she will be back within a month until he finds a one-way ticket and begins searching for her in a panic. In Black Harbor, Elena creates the Frost Falcon System from her own gifts and meets Kane, who finally sees her worth.
