Xiao An, an exhausted small-town baker, stumbles over a glowing magic crystal on her way home and wakes in a fantasy world full of monsters. Before she can even decide how to escape the Demon King's rampaging forces, a pouty five-year-old with curled horns and a worn black cloak runs up and loudly declares her his mother. The boy has been separated from his fearsome father, the Demon King, after a magical lab accident, and he refuses to let go of the first kind stranger who shares her snacks.
