Episode 39 of 56

Once the picture of a perfect couple, Lacy and her boyfriend were never apart, and their beloved dog Lacy was always with them. What she never learned was that he suffered from a dog allergy and took daily medication just so he could stay close to her. His jealous stepsister painted a false picture, insisting that real love meant Lacy should take the dog and leave before his rising career was ruined. Crushed, she left without saying goodbye. Years later, a football star and biotech founder, he has built his life around the pain of that betrayal, and fate brings the two of them back together along with the very dog that once divided them.
