The Contract Bride of Vampires

Episode 35 of 72

Bastian, the leader of the vampires, is struck down by a scheme that sets off the Blood-Bond Curse and leaves him vulnerable to violent attacks. After a night together by chance, he meets Aurora, a young woman facing a terminal illness, and learns that her presence can calm his curse-driven fits. He proposes a marriage of convenience, and Aurora agrees out of desperation, weighed down by her mother's mounting medical bills. Sharing a home with him, she begins to show a hidden power that Bastian suspects may be tied to a rare bloodline able to break his curse.
