The Coin

Helen Morrison works the night shift at a downtown Chicago parking lot, where a quarter turns up in the same tire track every night at 3 a.m. She soon learns that Elaine, the woman leaving it, is hiding from her abusive ex-husband and uses the coin to find out whether he has tracked her down. The two form an unlikely bond and begin a safety network for women facing stalking and harassment. Helen, meanwhile, is still living with a ten-year wait for her missing father.
