The Ashen Covenant

Episode 16 of 40

For four centuries, the Seven Holy Cities have depended on the Covenant for healing, power, and protection. The source is clipped, so I should only describe what it establishes: the cities rely on this ancient pact and do not realize what it quietly costs them. Romance and a war-saga backdrop frame a story about an underdog who stands against the arrangement that has held the cities together for generations.
