System On: Starvation? Not on My Watch!

Episode 24 of 64

Casey Shaw suddenly finds herself inside the pages of a novel she once read, waking up in the body of its heroine, a character fated to starve to death. Her new life is set in a historical past where food is scarce and the story's script seems determined to bury her. Rather than accept the grim ending written for her, Casey must claw her way out of poverty and fight back against the forces that doomed the original heroine. Every choice she makes now rewrites the tale she was meant to suffer through.
