Lucas has spent four years resenting Elijah Rhodes, the lacrosse star who has made his school life miserable. When the drama club casts them as Romeo and Juliet, Lucas finds himself stuck playing opposite the boy he least wants to touch. Elijah then offers to show him what true passion feels like, beginning with a kiss that goes far beyond anything the stage would require. As their private rehearsals pile up, Lucas struggles to tell where the performance ends and his real feelings begin.
