She Rose After Divorce

Episode 9 of 51

Nancy is secretly the sole heiress of the wealthy Shelley family and runs the Veris Group with an iron hand, yet for a decade she has lived as an humble housewife, swapping tailored suits for a plain apron to support her struggling husband, Jonathan. On their tenth anniversary, her fifteen-year-old daughter, Norma, openly declares that her mother is not good enough for their father and wants Anna, the family's live-in tutor, as a replacement. Jonathan backs his daughter, holding Anna close and ordering Nancy to fetch tea as though she were a servant. Nancy has finally had enough and walks out on the family.
