Shadow Bride

Episode 16 of 20

On the day of her seventh wedding attempt, Anna Ashford is shamed by the Oracle, struck by her father, and watched as her mother swaps her for cousin Seraphine. Her family once sealed a blood pact with the Shadow Lord, which binds the eldest Ashford daughter to him if she is still unwed on her twenty-sixth birthday, and that birthday has arrived. Anna pleads with Julian to flee before sunset, but he dismisses the threat and betrays her to their parents, who lock her in the tower as the deadline closes in.
