Screw the Plot, Rule the World

Episode 28 of 48

Evelyn Wyndham suddenly finds herself trapped inside an old romance novel, a story where the heroine is destined to suffer for love. Rather than accept the script the book has written for her, she refuses to play the wounded martyr. The clash between the role she was given and the life she intends to build sets up a battle she is determined to win on her own terms.
