Runaway Princess, Chasing Prince

Episode 39 of 40

A princess flees the palace rather than marry a prince from a foreign kingdom, but the match she wanted to escape is not the only thing she runs from. The prince has slipped away from his own obligations, and the two collide on the road in a series of sharp, playful quarrels. Their constant bickering hides a growing pull neither of them expected, while the duty waiting for each of them keeps pulling them back toward their homelands.
