Reborn as the Vestal Flame

Episode 3 of 46

Julia Cornelius died in her family's dungeon, tortured for a crime she never committed and sacrificed for her adopted sister's sake. Waking on the morning of her coming-of-age ceremony, she realizes she was only ever a villainess on fate's scroll and refuses to play the part. She rejects her gown, humbles her family's golden boy, and wins the Emperor's approval to become a Vestal Priestess, keeper of the Sacred Fire. Her mother's amulet hides a healing spring, and when plague strikes Rome she cures the sick in public, catching the eye of Titus, the white-haired Praetorian commander.
