Three thousand years after the dragon's heart was taken, Vera slips into Greyfort Castle as a servant with one goal: to recover it. Her search takes an unexpected turn, because the stolen heart no longer lies hidden in a vault but beats inside a living chest. Vera must keep her true purpose secret while moving through the castle's halls, and every step pulls her closer to a bond she never expected.
