Our Paths That Shall Never Cross

Episode 10 of 70

Paula Young makes a deathbed promise to her late friend that she will look after the friend's husband. Devoting herself to that vow puts her in close contact with a man whose life she has been bound to watch over, even as the two of them are meant to stay apart. Her promise pulls her into an urban world of quiet devotion and tangled feelings, where every step toward him carries the weight of a friendship she could never betray.
