Ordinary Life and Poor Husband

Episode 39 of 82

Carol is a part-time food delivery worker still grieving her mother, and after she helps an elderly man, she unexpectedly becomes tied to his powerful family. To pay off the mounting debts from her mother's medical care, she agrees to marry Nigel, the grandson of Denton's richest man, in exchange for $200,000. Nigel goes along with the arrangement only because his grandfather insists, and he keeps his true background hidden from her. As the two grow closer under one roof, their affection deepens, but his secret hangs over every day they share. Carol begins to notice things that don't add up, and her growing doubts set up a string of tense, funny moments.
