One Cup, No Return

Episode 16 of 40

After three years of devoted service, a waitress finds her loyalty repaid with humiliation over one small order. When a request for extra ice sets off her employer's temper, a cutting remark about electricity and whether she dislikes the place exposes how little her years of work have counted for. Her quiet hurt begins to harden into something sharper, and she starts to consider what it would take to make the owner regret that moment.
