Ethan serves as navigator for the ESO racing team, and when the new season begins he finds himself paired with Lucas, his longtime arch-rival on the track. The discovery that Lucas has a secret crush on Ethan's sister unsettles him, and their already frosty relationship grows even more tense. Hoping to smooth things over, the coach comes up with an unusually close ice-breaking plan that forces the two rivals to spend time together. As they work through it, Ethan starts to notice signs that Lucas may be interested in him instead.
