Tina Manotas is a humble, lovely woman who has to leave her hometown after her husband Edwin becomes entangled in trouble. In the big city, Edwin walks out on her and their two sons, leaving her to face hardship and an empty purse. Determined to see her son Victor chase his dream of becoming a professional footballer, she gives up nearly everything for him. Years later, his success lets him buy her a flat in the Sky Building, but her new luxurious life draws resentment from snobbish neighbors who envy her.
