Mistreated Bride

Episode 2 of 4 · S1E2

Mitsuko has just married and moved into her husband's house, where she finds herself among the members of the Takayanagi family. The source premise is clipped, so the story opens on a newly wed bride who must find her footing in a household that does not welcome her warmly. Her arrival sets up a romance shaped by the tension between a devoted new wife and the people around her who treat her cruelly.
