Married Off as a Joke, Living as His Queen

Episode 22 of 63

Yara Wood is handed off in marriage to a man her family insists is poor, while her younger sister Carla is sent to wealthier in-laws. In the modest home she now shares with Shawn Kirk, Yara discovers real warmth from her husband, his mother, and the villagers around them. Yet Carla and her arrogant spouse keep belittling Yara's family, unaware that Shawn is the richest man in Stanmore, and he is finally running out of patience with their behavior.
