Ivy White discovers that her husband Victor Grant has been secretly seeing his first love, Bonnie Brooks, and has even bought burial plots for the two of them. Furious, she files for divorce. While taking some fresh air after the split, she crosses paths with Liam Chase, chairman of Summit Group, who is instantly smitten. Pretending to arrange a blind date, he treats her with quiet thoughtfulness and pursues her with sincere determination. Their romance blooms, but both families' grown children push back against it, and Ivy must win over the Chase household while Liam's devotion slowly softens her own son and daughter.
