Drawing on the classic tale by Hans Christian Andersen, this story follows a young mermaid who gives up the ocean to be with a human she has barely met. Her choice to leave her world behind brings her face to face with some painful lessons about love, trust, and what she truly gave up. As she adjusts to life on land, she begins to understand that the bond she chased may not be what she imagined.
