Late Redemption

Episode 22 of 35

After five years of marriage to Felix, Luna is terminally ill. On their wedding anniversary, she dies after repeatedly pleading for help, only to be ignored as Felix neglects her for his beloved Willa. Following Luna's death, Felix discovers the truth through a fire tape and medical records: Luna was the one who saved him in the fire and contracted her fatal illness, while Willa had long claimed the credit. Felix punishes Willa and gives away his fortune in atonement, spending the rest of his life in endless remorse. Meanwhile, as a spirit, Luna witnesses everything, lets go of the past, makes perfumes in the afterlife, and finally breaks free from her obsession to find true new life.
