Jailed Bird

Episode 29 of 77

Hera has endured years of abuse at the hands of her stepfather until she starts attending the art department at Ston College. There she meets classmates Brad and Yoanna, and the three become close friends by chance. Their kindness slowly shows Hera what freedom could feel like, and she begins to dream of rebelling against David and breaking out of the cage he has built around her. Yet escaping that control proves far harder than she imagined, and the new life she reaches for comes at a steep personal cost.
