I Stopped Waiting at the Line

Episode 6 of 27

For five years the narrator poured her heart into Justin Forster, the reigning Pacific Speed Championship champion, hoping their bond would hold through his relentless racing career. The source premise is clipped, but it sets up a romance about devotion that has been stretched thin by ambition and distance. When the two eventually cross paths again, old feelings and unfinished questions resurface, forcing her to reconsider how long she is willing to keep waiting.
