I Planned Rebellion, She Offered Me Her Throne

Episode 33 of 70

A modern slacker mocking a cheesy web drama is struck by lightning and wakes up inside it as Charles Vanbrugh, the chancellor scheming against the empire. He intends to follow the script, making Empress Adelaide Leighton distrust him so he can launch a rebellion. Yet she has been reborn too, and she regrets how she treated him in her earlier life. Instead of pushing him away, she begins to indulge him, and Charles slowly shifts from a carefree schemer into someone fit to rule.
