I Lost My Twins

Eleanor Vance, the daughter of a local tycoon, gives birth to twins just as her husband dies. Her scheming niece Sophia, eager to seize the family property, secretly abandons the babies by the roadside and arranges for Eleanor to take in Sophia's own daughter as her child. A kindly old trash collector finds the twins and names them Mia and Lucy, but after his death the girls are left to beg on the streets in search of the mother they never knew. Taken in by a manipulative figure known as Goose Hu Cheng, they are pushed into stealing, and in a twist of fate they end up robbing the very house where their birth mother lives.
