On the morning of her wedding, Sabine watches her brother Leo ruin her mother's heirloom gown with a splash of red wine. Her fiancé Marco then insists she apologize to her stepsister Ava, and Sabine instead breaks off the engagement in public. She moves out of the Ricci household to train in design under Nora, a former friend of her late mother. Once she is gone, Leo and Marco begin to see how years of putting Ava first have wounded Sabine, and they set out to bring her back as remorse weighs on them.
