Pushed into it by his grandfather, the young Feng Ling reluctantly weds Jiang Tang, who is five years his senior and the eldest daughter of the Jiang Group. She also happens to be the older sister of his closest friend, Jiang Bei. Their rushed marriage leaves Feng Ling bitter about the business arrangement, and he takes that frustration out on his new wife. Jiang Tang, however, meets his temper with composure and steady maturity, and little by little she wears down his icy, proud exterior.
