His Curse, My Destiny

Episode 3 of 58

Mixed-blood Beta Luna is handed over by her own family as a sacrifice to Shadow Lord Kale, a fearsome monster whose brides have never lasted three years. Inside his castle she sees the cursed veins tearing through him in agony, and when she touches him the dark markings begin to crack and fade. Kale believes she may be the living cure he has hunted for three centuries, yet he claims her against her will and then forces her into the Moon Hunt selection as its lowest-born contender. When her sister publicly smashes her token and calls it a counterfeit, a masked High Lord steps forward from the crowd to challenge the accusation.
